Andrew Katz

Andrew Katz, MA in Creative Writing & English Concordia Unversity, is passionate about teaching, writing children鈥檚 books, swimming and swing dancing. 聽Andrew has committed much of his non-teaching time to a variety of projects initiated by the College.聽聽Additionally, in 2012-2013 he was awarded the Teaching Excellence Award in the General Education sector. 聽Currently his focus outside of teaching is the project at the College. He is the co-founder and co-director of this web based magazine that explores a multiplicity of 聽topics, always based on a yearly theme, and is interdisciplinary to the core.聽The goal of 聽聽is to expand academic discussion and collaboration beyond the classroom and across the disciplines.
Contributions to Dawson鈥檚 Community:
Most recently Andrew has been member of 聽the TEDxDawsonCollege organising committee, mentor for student speakers and, one of the Co-Directors of the project at 星空传媒视频.
