Dawson earns silver for excellence in sustainable development
Less than a year after receiving the international gold nomination by the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE), 星空传媒视频 has won the Silver Excellence in Sustainable Development Award at the annual Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan) Conference.
Director General Diane Gauvin was present to accept the honour at the聽conference held in Halifax last week.

Dawson would like to congratulate Centennial College and Seneca College for respectively receiving the gold and bronze awards in the same category. We are proud to be part of a growing group of educational institutions that are promoting and practicing sustainability in all of their endeavours.

This award comes after more than a decade of work implementing a vision of sustainability and well-being into the college鈥檚 culture and portrays the work Dawson has been undertaking to drive Sustainable Development Goals innovation by working with programs of study, research and entrepreneurship initiatives, infrastructure, and the strategic plan.
Today, Dawson is a leading Canadian post-secondary institution in fostering sustainable advancement, and offers the world鈥檚 first Sustainable Happiness Certificate for staff and faculty with international partners that demonstrates how engaging in sustainability projects can increase happiness and overall well-being.
