40-year installation of Lise-H茅l猫ne Larin at CVM

Teacher Lise-H茅l猫ne Larin (Fine Arts) is now showing FOR脢T/PARADIGME 2020聽at the Agora of C茅gep du Vieux Montr茅al (255 Ontario East) until March 13. Lise-H茅l猫ne wrote about this exhibit of her work:
“This work is about the process and transformations my聽installation聽has undergone for almost 40 years. I made my first tree using a weekend newspaper and elastic bands聽in 1980, made 300 of them and then invited 400 people to help me complete my forest through a seven-year span of reclaiming and recycling weekend newspapers of La Presse and The Gazette. I first showed this work in聽1988.聽I聽am now questioning how a work of art can be renewed through time. I am also questioning聽how we can revise our commitment to the environment.”
