About a dozen employees of Dawson responded last week to let us know they are available to help the seniors in our community. If you are a Dawson employee or retiree over 70 years old, please let us know if you would like a telephone visitor or help getting groceries.

Two Dawson Blues Division 1 Basketball players, Taisha Exanor and Mackenzie Ash-Smith, have made history! On March 18, the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) announced that Taisha and Mackenzie are recognized as 2020 CCAA Women鈥檚 Basketball All-Canadians.
The student-athletes are selected by their conference based on performance and contribution to the sport and their team. Dawson's conference is the R茅seau du sport 茅tudiant du Qu茅bec (RSEQ and our players were chosen by the RSEQ league coaches.
It is the first time since 1986 that two Blues were named All-Canadians, and it is the first-time since 2008 that an RSEQ team has two.

As of March 23, the Admissions Team had sent out 4,700 offers of admission.

Dawson employees care for hundreds of plants in their offices and work areas. This beautiful orchid, pictured, was blooming when the Sustainability team聽 came by on their plant-care rounds on Friday. The team is ensuring that everyone鈥檚 plants are taken care of during the College closure. Any employee who has plants that need care at the College can fill out a 聽form.聽The first plant-care rounds were done yesterday and Friday.
