Dawson student wins biggest undergrad scholarship in Canada!

Margaux Roncière, who will be graduating from ǿմýƵ in Pure and Applied Science this spring, has won Canada’s largest undergraduate award: the Loran Award.

The Rob Springer Game, which was postponed Feb. 7 due to the snowstorm, will now take place this Friday, Feb. 21 at 8 p.m.

Garbage Dude’s tips

Garbage Dude was created by Facilities Management to raise awareness about waste on campus. Here are some of Garbage Dude's tips for making good choices at the waste sorting stations:

  • Do recycle ziplock bags and aluminum foil, even if they are not clean.
  • Don't throw takeout coffee cups in the recycling bin. They are garbage.
  • Do compost kleenex (new and used).
  • Do compost all paper products; only clean paper can be recycled.

New look for My Dawson Omnivox Portal

The MyDawson Portal log in screen and Omnivox main page will be updated by Skytech Communications soon, perhaps as early as Thursday. The new responsive design will automatically adjust the display according to your device and screen size. Accessibility will be improved for people who use adaptive or assistive technologies. All existing functionality will remain although finding it may be a challenge. Employeeswill continue to use their network login to access the portal. The photo shows the new log in page.
