On Nov. 8, Sabine's close friend and neighbour, Toni, died in a fire in Lachine along with her eight-year-old daughter; her four-year-old daughter later died from her injuries. CRISPESH is pleased to welcome a new project manager, Catherine Roy. Catherine is in charge of projects in the field of inclusion of people with disabilities.
From now until May, about 30,000 kids in schools across Ontario will read all 10 of the French picture books nominated for Le Prix Peuplier. One of those books is the French version of How to Catch a Bear Who Loves to Read by Dawson teacher Andrew Katz and Juliana Léveillé-Trudel. The nominees are kid-picked, and the eventual winner will be as well. Congrats Andrew and good luck!
