Registration is now open for the 15th Edition of the Dawson Golf Classic taking place on Tuesday, June 7. Proceeds will go to the Financial Aid Office to help reduce the financial burden on students as the cost of living increases.
Dawson employees, retirees and alumni benefit from friendly prices. Single tickets cost $210, foursomes are $800 and a dinner-only ticket is $100.聽The day includes a brunch, driving range practice, golf, a cocktail reception and dinner at Summerlea Golf & Country Club in Vaudreuil-Dorion.

Students who founded IndigeSTEM peer tutoring project recognized by Forces Avenir

Currently, Rotshenn贸n:ni Two-Axe and Kayla Spencer-Young are two of a handful of Indigenous students in Dawson鈥檚 Science Program.
Rotshenn贸n:ni and Kayla wanted to encourage and support their fellow Indigenous students who may be interested in Science. They came up with an idea last semester that has won them the local award and put them in the running for the provincial award, which will be announced at an event in Quebec City in September.

Dawson students are K-Pop champions

Congrats to our Dawson K-pop dancers who brought home the trophy after last week鈥檚 Intercollegiate K-Pop Triple Crown Dance Competition (KTCD)!
Students who performed this year are part of the local K-Pop dance performance group and for the first time ever, competed live against Champlain College, John Abbott College, Marianopolis College, and Vanier College.

Appointments for Academic Skills Centre now on Omnivox

To make an appointment with an Academic Skills Centre professional, a peer tutor, or to register for a workshop, students will need to log into Omnivox聽and click on聽WCOnline under the Student Services menu on the left near the bottom of the menu.
Students will no longer have to remember a separate website address and password. We will continue to use the same scheduling system, so students should be familiar with it, but it is now integrated with Omnivox through single sign-on.
The separate scheduling access point that you may remember (dawsoncollege.mywconline.com) is聽no longer available聽for students. Even though we have contacted all our users, you may encounter students confused by the change, so we would appreciate if you could help them during this transition. 颅

Blood drive was “immense success”

The Blood Drive at Dawson on Feb. 22-23 was an 鈥渋mmense success considering the current covid context,鈥 according to H茅ma-Qu茅bec.
A total of 108 members of the Dawson community gave blood. H茅ma-Qu茅bec wanted to thank Dawson on behalf of all the patients who will receive blood.
