Andrew Katz’s Book Nominated for Le Prix Peuplier

From now until May, about 30,000 kids in schools across Ontario will read all 10 of the French picture books nominated for Le Prix Peuplier. One of those books is the French version of How to Catch a Bear Who Loves to Read by Dawson teacher Andrew Katz and Juliana Léveillé-Trudel. The nominees are kid-picked, and the eventual winner will be as well. Congrats Andrew and good luck!

Dawson’s Young Women in Science on CTV Dec. 4

CTV News recently interviewed a variety of our young women in science programs as well as faculty members Annie-Hélène Samson and Gesche Peters. The feature is part of CTV's special coverage leading up to the 30th anniversary of the École Poytechnique tragedy Dec. 6.
