Dawson students start babysitting service for those in need

ǿմýƵ student Tristan Hamer has created a volunteer movement of young people in high school and CEGEP to provide free or pay what you can babysitting services for people in need of childcare during the school shutdown. Dawson helping move SDGs forward in CICan national project

CICan is partnering with Dawson and eight other colleges to help Canada reach the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). , with the support of the McConnell Foundation and the patronage of the Canadian Commission for UNESCO, will help advance Canada’s commitment to sustainability.
Chris Adam, who represented Dawson, said: “It was clear that the sustainability-related work implemented by Dawson staff and students is recognized across Canada as innovative, current and entrepreneurial!”
