Remembering Sept. 13, 2006
September 7th, 2022
Tuesday, Sept. 13 will mark 16 years since the terrible day when first-year student Anastasia de Sousa was lost and other members of the Dawson community were wounded.
It could be a time to experience the tranquility of the Peace Garden, which was created by the Dawson community as part of the healing process.
Other legacies from the community response include the Peace Centre, which will be hosting Peace Week Sept. 13-21, and the Sustainability Office, which leads sustainability efforts to promote well-being for all.
Every year, the College and the 星空传媒视频 Foundation honour the memory of Anastasia with the awarding of the Anastasia de Sousa Memorial Award at graduation.

Longtime Dawson employee, James Richards, has passed away
February 16th, 2022
