Better late than never! We finally have a winner drawn from all who participated in our new newsletter name survey or suggested a name last semester.
Derek Gaucher, Coordinator of IT Solutions (Systems and Programming), gets the credit for suggesting the name that was retained for our employee newsletter. D News is perfect because the letter D is used as shorthand for Dawson with our D logo and the newsletter is meant to present the College news in short little pieces.
We entered all the names of employees who participated in naming the newsletter into an online random name picker. Dipti Gupta, Profile Coordinator of Cinema-Communications, was selected as the winner. She won a $50 gift card. Thank you to all who participated! And thank you to all who continue to make D News your news by contributing content and giving feedback.
