Support the White Ribbon Campaign at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ÊÓƵ!

The White Ribbon Campaign is a global movement to end male violence against women and girls. This year, ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ÊÓƵ is participating in the campaign from December 2 to 6.

Join us for the following events:

Discussion: Violence Against Women

White Ribbon Distribution
Dec. 2-5, Upper Atrium
Men can pick up a white ribbon to show their support.

Memorial Ceremony
Dec. 6, Upper Atrium
Remembering the women who were killed at the École Polytechnique.

Volunteer Opportunity:
Male employees, volunteer to help distribute white ribbons and promote the campaign. Email Kayla Smith (ksmith@dawsoncollege.qc.ca) with your availability.

Support the Social Change and Solidarity Program’s Cuba Fundraiser!

The Social Change and Solidarity Program is travelling to Cuba and needs your help!

Due to the ongoing U.S. embargo and fuel crisis, Cubans face critical shortages, especially in healthcare. Our students will be delivering urgently needed medical supplies to the Martin Luther King Center in Havana.

You can contribute to their fundraiser by:
Scanning the QR code on posters around campus or donating toiletries, toys, and sewing materials in the box in the 4A hallway

Professional Photography 5th Semester Vernissage & Exhibition: Continuum

You are cordially invited to attend “Continuum,” a photographic exhibition showcasing the works of fifth-semester students in the Professional Photography Program.

Winter Clothing Drive for Refugees and Newcomers

Help us make a difference in our community!

The Dawson Teachers’ Union has partnered with the Welcome Collective to collect outdoor winter clothing for refugees and newcomers.

We’re calling on the entire Dawson community to donate:

Winter coats
Boots
Snowsuits
Snow pants
Scarves
Mittens
Gloves
Hats

For both adults and children! Drop off your donations at room 8A.11 from now until December 9.
