Virtual Student Services
The past six weeks have been very challenging for all of us and for our students as well. Â We have been racing against time to ensure that we could, as much as possible, save this semester by re-organizing classes and deploying online services to support our students.

Here are services that are currently available:
STUDENT SERVICES
- Psychological Counselling:
- For students who need personal counselling and support
- Career Counselling:
- For students who have questions concerning college and university programs
- For students who need help in choosing their career path
- Health Services:
- For students who need to consult a nurse
- Academic Skills Centre:
- For students who need support with specific disciplines, such as English, Science, Humanities…
- Online peer tutoring is available for a variety of subjects
- Individual online appointments with our pedagogical counsellors
- AccessAbility Services (SAAC):
- Students currently registered at the Centre will continue to receive services.
- Current students and newly registered student can also make a request to meet with a counsellor if they need support for the Fall 2020 semester
- Library
- Online services are offered
- Reference help with a Librarian
- Online streaming of videos
- Many E-books are available at no cost
- Many other services are listed on the Library Webpage
- Financial Aid
- Quebec’s Loans and Bursary program information
- Emergency Financial Aid

ACADEMIC ADVISING
Academic advisors are available remotely to answer student questions. Students must send an email to advsecretary@dawsoncollege.qc.ca and include the following information: Name, Student Number, Program Name, Reason, Phone number where they can be reached.
- Advisors will do their best to contact students within 24 hours.
Online chat will replace in-person advising drop-in. Chat will be available daily according to the schedule listed on the advising webpage (both Day and Continuing Education).
