Advisory Group
Several industry partners as well as faculty members from l’École de technologie supérieure participate in the Electronics Engineering Technology Program Advisory Group, and were consulted regarding the current Program revision. L’École de technologie supérieure is included in the Advisory Group as some Electronics Engineering Technology students choose to go on to university before entering the workforce. ETS actively recruits ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ÊÓƵ Electronics Engineering Technology graduates, and considers them to be of very high quality. ETS admits students who have successfully completed the ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ÊÓƵ Program, with no prerequisites or mise a niveau courses required.
A formal Advisory Group meeting was held on January 15, 2008. The Advisory Group unanimously agreed that the Program content would thoroughly prepare students for the needs of the workplace, and they noted that currently, there is a high demand for qualified Technologists. Several group members stated that they are consistently impressed with the quality of the ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ÊÓƵ Electronics Engineering Technology Program graduates, and will continue to recruit at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ÊÓƵ.
