I had a tough time adjusting from high school to college. However, through the help of the teachers, family, hard work and perseverance I was able to not just pass all my classes but start to excel. When I heard I won the Josie Gotfrit Memorial Scholarship I felt honoured. I plan to continue working hard at university in Recreation and Leisure. I will also be on the track team and one way I will use the scholarship is to help pay for the cost of being on the team.
