Ministerial Requirements
To be admitted to the program, a person must hold a Secondary School Diploma (DES) or a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) or Equivalent, as well as satisfy one of the following conditions:
- The applicant’s studies have been interrupted for at least two consecutive terms or one school year; or
- The applicant is covered by an agreement entered between the College and an employer or by a government program; or
- The applicant has pursued postsecondary studies for at least one year.
Applicants should be aware that they must demonstrate a French language proficiency of level 7 oral expression and level 4 written expression to graduate.
College Requirements
- To be admitted in the program, a person must:
a. Hold a Diploma of Collegial Studies (DCS/DEC) in Computer Science, or equivalent; or
b. Hold an Attestation of Collegial Studies (ACS) in Network Administration or equivalent; or
c. Have training or work experience as a Network Administration Technician that is deemed to be sufficient by the College.
- In addition, a person must:
a. Submit an up-to-date CV (Curriculum Vitae);
b. Demonstrate English language skills equivalent to placement at Preparation for College English or Applicants may be required to take an English placement test;
c. Undergo an interview to assess the applicant’s motivation, communication skills and expectations.
